Shayne Putzlocher

Shayne has worked in the film and television industry for the past 15 years. For the majority of his career he has been an Assistant Directors on such projects as Canada’s most successful narrative comedy series Corner Gas (Brent Butt, Gabrielle Miller), Terry Gilliam’s Tideland (Jeff Bridges, Jennifer Tilly), Lullaby For Pi (Forest Whitaker, Rupert Friend), Downloading Nancy (Maria Bello, Jason Patric), Hybrid (Oded Fehr), Ticket Out (Ray Liotta, Alexandra Breckenridge), The Tall Man (Jessica Biel) and The Messengers (Kristen Stewart, John Corbett).

In 2009 Shayne started his own film and television production company Trilight Entertainment. Since the company’s inception Trilight has produced Bruce McDonald’s Hard Core Logo Part 2 (Julian Richings, Care Failure), Vampire Dog (Norm MacDonald, Ron Pederson), Space Milkshake (Robin Dunne, Billy Boyd, Kristin Kreuk, Amanda Tapping) and Step Dogs (Ryan Belleville, Joris Jarsky).

Shayne has won four Director’s Guild Awards for Best Team Achievement in a Television Series.
